Precision Productions injects a Soca Emergency into Carnival 2014!

With every passing moment, one can feel the rising tension of Carnival 2014 stirring the atmosphere as the barely restrained bodies of restless masqueraders anticipate that precise fuel needed to propel them across the black carpet.

Precision Productions has listened attentively and using all of these emotions has conjured one rhythmic inoculation to relieve the entire nation.

As the musical alarms sound off, a masterful team of artists is summoned and placed on siren duty, each with a specific part to play in allocating this "Emergency" treatment.

In charge of sharing tactical information is St. Lucia's former Groovy King, Teddyson "TJ" John, who alongside his crafty writing partner, Telvin John, hooks all with "Backa" (Lucian slang for "Your Crew"), which is one part must-have fete list, one part declaration of no-safe-gyration zone, and one part urgent road instruction.

Meanwhile Fya Empress, the first ever triple Monarch title holder in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, shows off her skill as she whips feters into a fevered state with "We Ready", which was written by the dynamic duo of Akeem "Preedy" Chance and Stephanas "Steffy" Ramgattie of WeMAD fame.

Majesty continues to reign as the Caribbean Queen of Bacchanal, Destra, joins the rumble intent on leaving nothing behind but dust in the frenetic "Mash Up" that was authored by Patrick "Mista Vybe" Gordon.

Hilarious chaos rules in the middle of all this action as St Lucia's 2010 Power Soca Monarch and Road March King, DJ HP, delivers an energetic illustration of a scandalous scenario painted by Mista Vybe who does double writing duty in this riddim, showing off his witty side, this time, in the mauvaise langue tummy-tickler "Maddd Again".

Teddon "Teddy Rhymez" Mark represents for festival instigators even as he displays dual dexterity as a vibrant performer, as well as a clever writer, in the spirited "Not In Dat".

Amid the growing musical melee, reinforcements have been gathered to ensure thorough disbursement of this soca solution. Using the now well honed writing skills of Akeem "Preedy" Chance and Stephanas "Steffy" Ramgattie, two young virulent voices, Devon Matthews and Shivonne "Lil' Bitts" Church have joined the brigade with their fiery tracks, "Million Jam" and "Bacchanal Is Here Again" increasing the potency of this riddim.

Now with this sure remedy flowing through the air, there is only one question to be asked... do you think you can handle this Precision Soca Emergency?
