Stratosphere Muzic releases 40 Days and 40 Nights (Dingolay) by Ricky T & Ambi
- April 2013 - The Joseph brothers – Ricky T and Ambi – are on an expedition. They are searching for “a girl for my Carnival whine.” Written by Ricky and Ambroise Joseph, “40 Days and 40 Nights (Dingolay)” is featured on the Stratosphere Muzic Riddim of the same name. The song was produced by Courtney “Curty” Louis inside his Dutch Productions studio. The new release for Saint Lucia Carnival 2013 was also co-produced by Ricky Joseph.

The hunt for this girl has, like the Lenten season before the release of this single, already taken 40 days and 40 nights, “Baby girl tell me where you’re gone/I’ve been searching and looking/I’m looking and searching/tell me what’s going on”

It includes phone calls, “Calling your phone I’m getting busy tones/ So I’m calling your dad/calling your mom/ they tell me you’re not around” and desperate appeals so that the artistes and their lost female treasure can Dingolay.

The elusive vixen appears to have made a habit of disappearing; she vanished during last year Carnival “right by the Piton truck.”

Won’t you please join them as the search continues as we look ahead to this year’s Carnival where a whine from that one person can make or break a season, “40 Days and 40 Nights” indeed.
