Renaissance Mas Productions (RMP) is ready to introduce its illustrious 2012 presentation - Gods & Goddesses: Myths of Ancient Worlds
Coming off their groundbreaking 2011 debut, Masquerade band, Renaissance Mas Productions (RMP), is back and ready to introduce its illustrious presentation for the 2012 Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival. Touted as the festival's most innovative new movement, the band saw incredible success, advancing to the "B category".
On Sunday April 29th, RMP hosts its highly anticipated Band Launch proudly unveiling their submission for 2012, “Gods & Goddesses: Myths of Ancient Worlds”. With innovation and family as staples of their mantra, RMP sets itself apart from the crowd, opting for a family oriented, and afternoon launch, in contrast to the traditional nighttime fete format. The sophomore effort features seven (7) dynamic adult and four (4) fun-filled children's sections.
The Gods & Goddesses: Myths of Ancient Worlds Band Launch promises to be a display of iconic designs -bright, daring and sexy with something for every taste. A highlight of the most recognized and powerful ancient cultures will be portrayed while fusing the glamour, prestige and essence of our modern style and sophistication.
Famed for a trend-setting and youthful appeal, RMP is noted as the only Toronto Mas Band to highlight their Junior Carnival costumes alongside their adult presentation. The Kiddies are no exception to this lavish event and will also have their time to shine as they portray four (4) mythical sections of the Ancient Worlds.
This showcase of culture and music will take place SUNDAY APRIL 29th, at The Continental Soiree-1957 Kennedy Road in Scarborough. Doors open at 3:00 pm and showtime will be at 5:30pm SHARP.
The festivities will be co-hosted by Mark Strong (G98.7fm), Earl LaPierre Jr. (E-Man) and comedian & artist Marlon Palmer "That Dude McFly".
Music will be supplied by DJ Creepa, 1Unit and Junya Menace (of the New KOS).
